March 25
With a few days to rest up and wait for the weather to improve up north, I have had some time to reflect on the trip. We’ve seen a lot. We’ve missed so much more. Important and historic sites like West Point, Fort McHenry, Appomattox, Chicago, the Cumberland Gap, eastern Kentucky and Tennessee, the land of Lincoln, St. Louis, and many others will have to wait till next time. Hey, I printed the list. I recently bought a book called "A 1000 Places to see in the US & Canada before You Die--if any spots on the list are in the book I'll start making plans--do you know any adventurous single men?
