Key Biscayne is just 15 miles from Miami and is an island with gorgeous beaches and considerable wealth. As Barb and I began our bike trek from the state park to tour around the Key we ran into another group of fellow bikers. Barb struck up a conversation with one lady as they shared the path. "Join us," she stated. The group of middle aged adults was filming a historic tour around the Key. The president of the historical society led the tour. One lady moderated, one narrated, and one, a man on a scooter, filmed the varied presentations. The first stop was the marina. The second was Nixon's former home. Two owners later, it is now for sale again for 34 million. A large home on the Key that
includes a helipad and a view overlooking the Miami skyline, I guess, is hard to find. Later stops included the bird sanctuary, an Indian burial ground, and the gorgeous beach. Barb and I said our goodbyes and continued riding for another hour to view the Miami skyline across the water. The key has a comfortable feel, a more relaxed atmosphere then the business of Miami. Four hours on the bike left us with some energy to visit Little Havana on the way back to the RV. The Cuban enclave, in the south of Miami, is rich in culture and includes a central park where men
and women meet to play dominoes 363 days a year.

Only 363 days a year? What about the other two days? Or do they have to do something else those two days because they just can't stand to do it every day? The must need a break, huh? :o) Once again, beautiful pictures!
