The drive to Orlando surprised us. There were a few farms. One was strawberry. Orange groves dominate this area but most of the area we drove through was covered with pines and logging appears to be the main industry. It was 68 degrees as we pulled into the campsite. So we donned our shorts and went for a bike ride. We are near a lake and, yes, we are told that it has alligators. Now we sit in the rig, the door is wide open and we are watching the Seahawks beat the Redskins.

Norm & Barb,
I had a quiet moment to absorb your words and pictures and I jumped in. I even went back and reread your Boston postings. I loved my time there, but regret that pieces of it are already leaving my memory--more due to the age I was then than to the age I am now. I look forward to the time I can see it through these eyes and this heart.
Thank you for sharing your precious Kari with us at Christmas. What a treat for us all! Of course AnnaBelle was overjoyed to have her godmother listening intently to every story she related, but the rest of us (including the LaCrosse Aunes) were so happy to have her here. She is a treasure and we are so very blessed to have a special bond with her. You did good, Dad and Mom!
We are continuing to pray for a safe trip for you. As for us, we just can't wait until spring to get our own house on the road!
God bless and much love,
Kirsten
