We attended Trinity Lutheran Church with the Lerdas. It was a great way to end a rich and informative 4 days with friends. The Reformation Sunday celebration, in high church style, was very uplifting. Barb and I had not heard such wonderful music, braced by a huge pipe organ, in a long time.
We left at noon. Traffic started out light but became very heavy as we entered the D.C. beltway (I495). Barb and the GPS (we call her Ms Garmin) brought me in without a miscue. The campground is nicely appointed however, at $48 a night, these are the highest prices we have paid. When you consider that we are 16 miles from the Whitehouse, just a few miles from our friends, and that the RV park has access to the metro system, the location overrides the cost. We will be here a week.

Don't forget to call Adam Smith for some tix to the White House. And go to the Lincoln Monument as late at night as you can...it's really awesome to have Mr. Lincoln and you all alone together.
