March, 2014
Not much sun this spring but we had fun enjoying Janie, Jensen, Grayson, and now Elizabeth on a weekly basis. Why would we want to be anywhere else?. We have an array of ongoing projects here, now including the grandkids. On one of our sunny days, we put together Barb's Christmas present.

On my birthday, I asked for two things. One, a family gathering and two, taking the two oldest to Seattle and the stage presentation of the Lion King.

I am so proud of the kids. Nathan and Cailyn, and Barb and I schooled the kids on the Lion King story and theater etiquette. They were wonderful. Jensen normally has a running commentary during movies that we watch at home. At the theater he only shared one sentence in a hushed voice, "Rafiki is a girl." In the Disney movie, the character is a male.
67 was very memorable. The Circle of Life. It is amazing how youngins rise to the occasion.
